Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Ovechkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kanye West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jesus Walks. Kanye West has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Ovechkin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ovechkin.
Ovechkin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by West.
Ovechkin misses with a double jab.

Ovechkin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ovechkin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ovechkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for West on the ground.
West is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ovechkin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ovechkin's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

West has control of Ovechkin's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ovechkin regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

West looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

West has hold of Ovechkin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ovechkin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
West wants to control the pace but Ovechkin is squirming around nicely.
Ovechkin is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ovechkin is working hard here to advance position.

West is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ovechkin is surviving well by controlling West's body position as best he can.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
West looking to control and managing it successfully.
West blocks Ovechkin's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Ovechkin is wriggling around trying to escape.
West trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Ovechkin can't escape the position.

West wants to finish this one by submission but Ovechkin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from West.
BOOM! West connects with a massive shot to the dome!

West is working for a kimura but Ovechkin is defending it quite comfortably.

West wants to control but Ovechkin is keeping him busy.
West is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ovechkin!

West with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

West really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Ovechkin.

West is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Ovechkin is defending well though. West let's go of the attempt for now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
West is trying to stick to Ovechkin's back but Ovechkin is turning into West. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in West's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ovechkin.

West escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ovechkin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ovechkin postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

West is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ovechkin frees his head nicely. Oh but West has switched to an armbar! Ovechkin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
