Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drasko Silajevas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lloyd comes into the arena with The Hives - Tick Tick Boom blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd scores with a leg kick.
Lloyd looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lloyd misses with a hook. Silajevas ducked under it nicely.
Silajevas throws an overhand right that lands on Lloyd's shoulder, as Lloyd tries to avoid the shot.
Lloyd moves out of range of the strikes.
Lloyd lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lloyd gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silajevas.
Silajevas lands with a nice body punch.
Lloyd avoids the body shot from Silajevas.
Silajevas scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lloyd in his tracks.
Lloyd scoring well with a low kick there.
Silajevas misses the body punch
and Lloyd counters with a leg kick.
Lloyd throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lloyd tries a head kick but it misses.
Lloyd lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Lloyd stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silajevas swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lloyd forces his way into half guard.

Silajevas is defending against the submission attempts here by Lloyd.
Lloyd is looking to take a break and control but Silajevas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silajevas can do anything to dispel that myth.

Silajevas wants to control but Lloyd is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Silajevas is looking to improve his position.
Lloyd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Silajevas does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lloyd passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Silajevas!

Lloyd is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Lloyd extends the arm and Silajevas is forced to tap!
