Villio comes into the arena with Thunder blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manalo misses with a takedown
and Villio counters with a nice uppercut.
Manalo closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Villio to counter with a crisp jab.
Manalo throws a combination that misses
and Villio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Villio doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Manalo counters with a thumping low kick.
Manalo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Villio counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Villio drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Manalo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Manalo has Villio pushed against the cage.
Villio is trying to stall.
Villio tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Villio manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Manalo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Manalo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Villio is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Manalo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Villio looks a forlorn figure.

Manalo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Manalo passes the guard and advances to mount!
Villio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Villio tries to get out of the position.

Manalo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Manalo's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
BOOM! Manalo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Manalo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Manalo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Villio is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Villio flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Manalo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Villio and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Manalo slips an arm under Villio chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Manalo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Manalo is squeezing on Villio like an anaconda would it's prey. Villio fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jose Cuervo Manalo!
