The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Leon swings widly with a right hand
and Yamada counters with a nice body kick.
Yamada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and De Leon counters with a nice uppercut.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Yamada throws a hook to the side of De Leon's head but De Leon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yamada lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and De Leon has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from De Leon and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Yamada feints and then cracks De Leon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Leon down.
De Leon loads up on a big right hand but Yamada slips the punch.
Yamada is looking to wear down De Leon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
De Leon swats away the attempt to clinch by Yamada.

and Yamada counters with a low kick, right behind De Leon 's knee.

De Leon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yamada doesn't seem bothered though.
Yamada lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Yamada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Leon moves away.
Yamada loads up on a big right hand but De Leon slips the punch.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from De Leon in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Yamada throws a right hand that De Leon ducks under and follows up with a left that De Leon also avoids with ease.
