PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Stroker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punch Von Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroker comes into the arena with TBR - Bigger Than Kiss blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Spar scores with a nice head shot.
Stroker missing with a left hand there. Von Spar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stroker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Von Spar moves forwards but Stroker connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Stroker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Stroker throws a low kick but Von Spar moves out of range easily.
Von Spar loads up on a big right hand but Stroker slips the punch.
Stroker lands the left hand.

It looks like Punch Von Spar has been cut.
Stroker misses with a hook.
Von Spar checks the leg kick nicely there.
Stroker thows a body shot but no joy.
Von Spar throws a poor cross that misses
and Stroker counters with a body kick.
Von Spar blocks a head kick by Stroker.
Stroker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Stroker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Stroker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stroker misses with a lunging right hand
and Von Spar counters with a right hand to the body.
Stroker throws a wild body kick that Von Spar sees coming a mile off.

Von Spar takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A head kick misses from Stroker.
Stroker tries to close the distance and clinch but Von Spar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A head kick from Stroker lands but Von Spar takes it in his stride.
Stroker with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stroker misses with a low kick.
Stroker lands with a slapping head kick.

Stroker slips under a jab.
Stroker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Stroker throws a low kick but Von Spar avoids it.
Some bone on bone action there as Von Spar checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stroker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Stroker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Von Spar steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stroker. That one must have hurt.
Stroker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Von Spar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Stroker jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stroker misses with an uppercut.
Von Spar looks to land a right hand but Stroker moved out of range.
Stroker lands a high kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stroker throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Von Spar throws a jab when Stroker was well out of range.
Stroker lands the left hand.
Stroker throws a body kick that misses.
Stroker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Von Spar, as that shot connected.

and Von Spar counters with a straight right hand.
Stroker closes the distance but Von Spar moves to the side
and Von Spar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stroker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Von Spar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stroker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Von Spar.
Stroker throws a predictable looking body shot
and Von Spar counters with a left and a right that stings Stroker.
Von Spar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stroker's head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Stroker tests Von Spar's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stroker wants to clinch
and Von Spar counters with a straight right hand.

Stroker is rocked!
Von Spar throws a pinpoint strike between Stroker's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Stroker crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Von Spar scores a great knockout victory!
