Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Lockwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lockwood comes into the arena with Coma by Overkill blaring out of the sound system. Robles has chosen WHO LET THE DOGS OUT as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Lockwood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Robles!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robles darts in trying to clinch
and Lockwood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lockwood stuns Robles with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Robles closes the distance but Lockwood moves to the side
and Lockwood counters with an inside leg kick.
Lockwood misses with a two punch combination.
Lockwood scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Adam Robles has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lockwood lands the left hand.
Lockwood scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Robles looks gassed!
Robles has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lockwood.
Lockwood fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lockwood ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Adam Lockwood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lockwood turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lockwood lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lockwood lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lockwood fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Lockwood fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Robles has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lockwood lands a left and a right that send Robles crashing to the mat, dazed. Lockwood thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
A slapping body kick lands there for Lockwood.
Lockwood with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lockwood lets loose with a powerful body kick. Robles will feel that in the morning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lockwood getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lockwood scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.


Robles is rocked!
Lockwood lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Robles up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Lockwood from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Robles's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Adam Lockwood!
