Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Tia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dick Dick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manny Tia!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick closes the distance and clinches.
Tia is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dick throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tia was covering up waiting for the punch and Dick finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dick looking to sit in guard and control but Tia gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tia postures up.
Dick has his foot on Tia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tia works his way back into a safe position though.
Dick is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dick uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Tia throws a leg kick but Dick checks it.

Dick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dick tries for a takedown but Tia circles away easily
and Tia counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tia has gone for a leg lock! Dick slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tia's guard.
Tia wants to sweep here but Dick controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tia pushes Dick off and scrambles back to his feet.

Dick tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dick wants to clinch up but Tia keeps it at a distance.
Tia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dick counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tia!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tia tries to reverse the position but Dick maintains control.
Dick trying to control but Tia is having none of it.
Dick thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Dick wants to finish this one by submission but Tia is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dick.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tia tries to lock up and control but Dick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Tia has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Dick has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Dick Dick has been cut.
Dick misses with a takedown attempt
and Tia counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tia can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dick gets to his feet - Tia follows without any prompting.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tia looks to land a combination. Dick sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dick swings away with a body shot that misses
and Tia counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Dick Dick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dick drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dick won't allow Tia to sweep him here.
Dick stops Tia from standing up.
Dick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tia swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tia controls Dick momentarily but Dick frees himself.

Tia is trying to control but can't.
Tia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dick tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tia.

Tia tries to buck Dick off but Dick is having none of it.
Dick thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tia is not content to let Dick control the position.
Tia wants to control but Dick postures up.
Tia sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Tia is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Manny Tia will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Dick Dick's cut.

Dick lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tia!
Dick throws some wild stikes that Tia manages to avoid easily.
Dick throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Tia because Dick loaded up on that one.
Tia tries to hold on but Dick pushes him away.
Dick prevents Tia from getting the reversal.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tia wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Dick avoiding Tia 's attempts to control his hands.
Tia defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Dick's arms.
Tia holding both Dick 's hands and preventing any damage.

Dick is persistently looking for the submission but Tia is defending it well.
Tia has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Dick.
Dick working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Dick is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tia has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tia trying to control the action but Dick just sinks the hooks in.
