Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junichi Emmeraldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emil Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Emmeraldo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mystic Forces. Junichi Emmeraldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Emmeraldo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Emmeraldo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Emmeraldo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Emil Hammer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hammer tries to bum rush Emmeraldo with a series of wild strikes but Emmeraldo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hammer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Emmeraldo.

Hammer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Emmeraldo momentarily.
Hammer misses with a series of wild punches.
Hammer cracks Emmeraldo with an open hand slap.

Hammer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
No joy there for Hammer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Emmeraldo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Emmeraldo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hammer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hammer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hammer!

Hammer stands up and beckons Emmeraldo to his feet.

Hammer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Emmeraldo circles away quickly and effectively.
Emmeraldo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

It looks like Junichi Emmeraldo has been cut.
Hammer cracks Emmeraldo with a left hook right on the temple and Emmeraldo goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Hammer lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Emmeraldo is OK!
