The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder misses with a body kick.
Pounder looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Pounder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pounder walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Garza lands a nice looking body kick.
Garza tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pounder paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A lazy left from Garza finds it's target.
Garza tries to clinch but Pounder moves out of range.

A head kick misses from Pounder.
Pounder throws a body kick that misses.
Garza cracks Pounder with a right hand to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A frustrated look appears on Garza's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Garza tries to close the distance and clinch but Pounder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
