Fleck's entrance music is Trivium - Down From The Sky. A fine choice. Menace comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Leroy Brown kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Herbie Fleck is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fleck misses with a wild body shot.
Menace throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Menace misses the body punch
and Fleck counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Phantom Menace has been cut.
Menace fails with the takedown
and Fleck counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fleck throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Menace stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fleck rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Menace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fleck throws a predictable looking body shot
and Menace counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Fleck connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Menace swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Phantom Menace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Menace uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fleck.
A swing and a miss from Fleck.
Menace with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nice takedown defense from Fleck. No joy for Menace on that attempt.

Menace shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fleck pinned against the cage. Fleck gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Menace.
Menace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fleck circles away.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Fleck counters with a crisp one two that drops Menace! Fleck thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Menace to his feet! Menace is in big trouble!

Menace throws a low kick but Fleck avoids it.
Fleck moves out of range as Menace strikes.

Menace drops his hands momentarily and Fleck takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Menace pushes Fleck away with a front kick.
Menace throws a head kick that misses.
Menace misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Fleck counters with a right hand to the body.

Fleck throws a poor cross that misses
and Menace counters with a head kick.
Menace throws a head kick but Fleck moves out of range.
Fleck moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Menace looks to land a combination but Fleck avoids it well.
Menace moves out of range of the strikes.

Menace connects with a body shot that sends Fleck's belly button to the back.
Menace scores with a jab.
Menace feints and then cracks Fleck's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fleck down.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Menace shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fleck napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A close second round but Phantom Menace will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

and Menace makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Menace lands with an uppercut that bounces Fleck off the cage and back into rage.
Menace swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fleck walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and Menace counters with a body kick that stops Fleck in his tracks momentarily.

Menace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Fleck back to the cage. Menace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Menace throws a looping overhand right but Fleck ducks down to avoid it.
Menace lands a leg kick that knocks Fleck off balance momentarily.
Menace swings for the body but Fleck moves out of range.
Menace with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Menace ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fleck moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Fleck as Menace shoots in.
Fleck uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Menace.
Menace lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fleck at a distance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fleck keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Menace throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Menace is defended easily by Fleck.
Fleck rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Menace counters with an inside leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Menace.

Phantom Menace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Menace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
