Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Glover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Silva throwing shots but Glover is blocking nicely.
Silva lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Glover's head.
Silva is keen to just control but Glover is a slippery customer.
Glover is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.

Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva is looking to advance position but Glover has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Glover is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Glover extends the arm and Silva is forced to tap!
