The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon shoots and misses
and Baczikow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Boss Gordon has been cut.

Baczikow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gordon is trying to maintain the position but Baczikow is very close to passing his half guard.
Gordon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Gordon wants to get back to full guard but Baczikow has mounted him!
Baczikow avoids the attempt from Gordon to control.

Baczikow with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Gordon takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Baczikow working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Gordon turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Baczikow off and cradles Gordon's limp body as Baczikow celebrates with his corner.
