Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Kline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Montain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kline kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock'n me . Kenny Kline could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Emerson Montain's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emerson Montain!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksandr Martynov and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Kline.
Kline lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Montain has his takedown stuffed

and Kline counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kline.
Kline lands an elbow that stopped Montain in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Emerson Montain has been cut.
Montain can't get the takedown.
Montain on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Montain jumps guard but Kline stands there with Montain around his waist. Montain gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kenny Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Montain.
Montain has had enough of the clinch but Kline keeps him there for the moment.

Montain has hold of Kline's hands but Kline slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kline slips a nice elbow through Montain's hands, connecting with Montain's forehead.

Kline is taking a breather. Montain says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Montain tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Kline winds up and cracks Montain with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Montain wants to get back to his feet.
Montain blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kline.

Kline looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kline seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kline looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Montain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kline looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Montain trying to control but Kline postures up.
Kline seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Montain looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kline is looking to advance position but Montain won't allow it.

Montain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kline counters with a straight right hand.

Montain closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kline's guard.

Montain would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Kline is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Montain is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Kline is looking for a sweep. Montain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kenny Kline overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kline bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Montain's guard.
Montain thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Montain pushes Kline off and scrambles back to his feet.

Montain fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kline to the ground. Montain is now in Kline's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Montain throws a strike but Kline rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kline chips away with some ground and pound.
Kline stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Montain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kline wants to control from the top but Montain keeps moving.

Kline won't allow Montain to sweep him here.

Montain tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kline passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kline connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Montain some visible discomfort.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kenny Kline will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Emerson Montain's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Kline lands with a kick to the temple. Montain shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Kline tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Montain is trying to drag Kline to the mat but Kline just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kenny Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Montain.

Kline has the Thai plumb, controlling the head nicely. He loads up with a big knee to the head and Montain goes down! Kline pounces into side control - this one could be over soon!

Kline scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Montain to see if he's OK.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Montain drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kline pulls his leg out and moves away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kline fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Montain, pushing him back against the cage.
Montain goes for a takedown attempt but Kline pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kline lands a slapping body shot.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kenny Kline showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kline has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
