The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Kendrick throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Williams shoots in but no luck this time.
Kendrick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Williams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Williams throws a left and a right that both miss

and Kendrick holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Williams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kendrick to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Williams pulls Kendrick in to control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
