Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Buchanan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Sooners Fight Song. Buchanan has chosen Secret of Octopus as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there.
Buchanan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Williams scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Williams moves into full mount! Buchanan won't be happy about that!

Williams breaks from Buchanan's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buchanan is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Williams is landing with some decent strikes but Buchanan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Williams is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Buchanan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Buchanan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Williams anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Buchanan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Williams slips an arm under Buchanan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Williams has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Williams is squeezing on Buchanan like an anaconda would it's prey. Buchanan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
