Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soz Sztrova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vit Tu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sztrova might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In a Heartbeat. Tu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Blanket on the ground. Vit Tu has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Soz Sztrova's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sztrova defends it nicely.
Sztrova pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sztrova throws a right and a left that Tu avoids nicely.
Tu on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sztrova. Sztrova obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick misses from Sztrova.
Sztrova goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Vit Tu has been cut.
Sztrova throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tu dodges the punch combination from Sztrova.
A head kick from Sztrova lands but Tu takes it in his stride.

Sztrova throws a head kick but Tu moves out of range.
Sztrova doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Tu counters with a shoot takedown. Sztrova fights it but they end up in guard.
Tu passes Sztrova's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sztrova is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tu scores with a couple of nice shots.

Sztrova has hold of Tu's hands but Tu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Tu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tu winds up and cracks Sztrova with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Tu is looking for a kimura but Sztrova is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tu to get the leverage.

Tu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Tu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tu connects with a nice short shot to Sztrova's temple.
Tu is nestled in close to Sztrova, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sztrova is not content to let Tu control the position.

Tu wants to work for an arm triangle but Sztrova is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tu lands a nice short elbow.

A big strike lands for Tu! That's really hurt Sztrova and he's turned his back - Tu keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tu jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
