The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wavy moves out of range as Kannegaard strikes.
Wavy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kannegaard throws a poor cross that misses
and Wavy counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kannegaard throws a combination that misses
and Wavy counters with a three punch combo that has Kannegaard backing up. Kannegaard nods at Wavy to acknowledge the strikes.
Kannegaard lands with a cross.
Wavy throws a nice looking combination but Kannegaard bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kannegaard digs a good body shot into Wavy's ribs.
Kannegaard fails to land with a series of punches.
Kannegaard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wavy.
Kannegaard jabs Wavy to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Kannegaard scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wavy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kannegaard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kannegaard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wavy moves away.
Kannegaard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wavy moves to clinch but Kannegaard breaks away
and Kannegaard counters with a stiff right hand.
Kannegaard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wavy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wavy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kannegaard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wavy is breathing heavily.
Wavy tries to clinch up
and Kannegaard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wavy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kannegaard misses the body punch
and Wavy counters with a stiff right hand.
Kannegaard cracks Wavy with an open hand slap.

Oooooh!!! Kannegaard has knocked Wavy down with a huge combo! Kannegaard steps away and waves a wobbly Wavy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Wavy is rocked!

Kannegaard lands a big uppercut and Wavy crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wavy looks OK. Kannegaard waves Wavy back to his feet!
Oh Wavy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Keast Kannegaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kannegaard closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wavy! Kannegaard dives in looking to finish! Wavy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
