The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Brace throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Brace wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brace cracks West with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Brace feints and then cracks West's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow West down.

Brace closes the distance and clinches.

Brace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

West tries to keep at a distance but Brace has taken the fight into the clinch.

West jumps guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brace is working West over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
West is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Brace clinches up against the cage.

Brace breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
War Brace is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brace lands a really nice looking cross but West seems unphased.
West tries for a takedown but Brace circles away easily
and Brace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

West shoots in and bounces Brace off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

West is trying to drag Brace to the mat but Brace just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Brace lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
West shoots in looking for a takedown. Brace tries to sprawl out of it but West keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brace manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brace catches West with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

West shoots for a double leg takedown but Brace sprawls well. He's pushed West's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Brace throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Brace thuds his right hand into West's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Brace lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Brace has managed to clinch.
West jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brace walks away with a smile on his face. West gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Brace darts in and clinches West up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brace is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but West is keeping busy.

West gets control of Brace's arms and successfully pulls guard. West will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
War Brace has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Brace is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! West is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! West has escaped and now he's on top!
