Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zaur Gubiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cage Stryker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zaur Gubiev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaur Gubiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cage Stryker!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stryker pushes Gubiev up against the cage in a clinch.

Stryker has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gubiev regains guard immediately.
Stryker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gubiev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gubiev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gubiev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stryker is aware though and is defending well.
Gubiev could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gubiev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stryker's guard.

Stryker is working an open guard so Gubiev takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Stryker blocks a low kick nicely.
Gubiev tries to clinch but Stryker moves away
and Stryker counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Stryker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Stryker lands a jab-cross combination.

Stryker lands a big head kick that sends Gubiev tumbling to the mat! Stryker takes a step backwards and waves Gubiev back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gubiev is rocked!

It looks like Zaur Gubiev has been cut.
Stryker cracks Gubiev's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Gubiev slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Stryker can do further damage! This one is done, son!
