Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luc Deveraux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Syd Scarr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scarr misses with an attempted mid kick.
Scarr wants to clinch but Deveraux slips to the side
enabling Deveraux to counter with a crisp jab.
An inside leg kick lands from Deveraux.
Deveraux circles away from the clinch attempt
and Deveraux counters with a low kick, right behind Scarr 's knee.
Deveraux buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Scarr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Syd Scarr has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good leg kick by Deveraux there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Scarr looks gassed!
Deveraux scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Scarr doesn't seem bothered though.
Deveraux lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Deveraux drops Scarr with a left right combo! Deveraux follows him down to the ground into side control.

Scarr seems to have recovered his senses.
Deveraux's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Syd Scarr's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Deveraux is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Deveraux shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Scarr eats them both and turns towards Deveraux to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Deveraux cracks Scarr with an open hand slap.
Deveraux lands with a thumping leg kick.
Deveraux connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Scarr's hands.

Deveraux thuds his right hand into Scarr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Deveraux dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Scarr. That did some damage!
Scarr's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Scarr walks into a left hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Syd Scarr's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
