Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mega Mindy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mindy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I'M T.N.T. Owen has chosen M.O.P. - Ante Up as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mega Mindy !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrick Owen!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owen closes the distance but Mindy moves to the side
and Mindy counters with a two punch combo.
Mindy shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Owen eats them both and turns towards Mindy to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Patrick Owen has been cut.

and Mindy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Mindy throws a left and a right that both miss

so Owen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Owen passes Mindy 's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mindy could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Owen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mindy is looking to improve his position.
Mindy wants to control but Owen is keeping busy.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Owen connects with a nice short shot to Mindy 's temple.
Mindy tries to roll over but Owen keeps him under control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mindy misses with a kick to the body.

Mindy lands with a hook. Owen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Owen ducks right into an uppercut from Mindy .

That has opened up Patrick Owen's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Patrick Owen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mindy tests Owen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mindy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Mindy connects with a body shot.
Mindy throws a one two combo.
Mindy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The cut above Patrick Owen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Mindy is working the combinations to good effect here.
No joy there for Mindy , who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mindy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mindy feints with a jab and clips Owen right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Owen is sent crashing into the canvas and Mindy leaps in for the kill! Owen tries to get to his feet but Mindy is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Owen is in need of a savior and steps in!
