Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bip Bip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bip kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Catch me !. Brannigan has chosen QOTSA - 'You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire' as his entrance music. Alex Brannigan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Brannigan might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bip has got the better of the exchanges.
Bip drops Brannigan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brannigan looks back up at him and smiles so Bip waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Bip fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Brannigan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brannigan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bip has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bip and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Bip feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brannigan sprawling to the canvas! Brannigan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bip finish him?!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Bip throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brannigan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Well Bip has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
