Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antti Karpetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abu Sayaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayaf has chosen Brand Nubian - Allah U Akbar as his entrance music. Abu Sayaf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpetti scores with a body shot.
Karpetti throws an off balance right hand
and Sayaf counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Karpetti takes a swing at Sayaf's ribcage but misses.
Karpetti throws a body punch but Sayaf moves out of range.
Karpetti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sayaf keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Karpetti.
Sayaf rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Karpetti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Karpetti throws an overhand right that lands on Sayaf's shoulder, as Sayaf tries to avoid the shot.
Sayaf's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Karpetti connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sayaf scrambles back to his feet.
Antti Karpetti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Karpetti counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Karpetti swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sayaf counters with a solid body kick.
Karpetti misses with a right hand
and Sayaf counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sayaf takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Karpetti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sayaf can pounce on him.
Sayaf throws an overhand right that lands on Karpetti's shoulder, as Karpetti tries to avoid the shot.
Sayaf misses with an uppercut
and Karpetti comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Sayaf stumbles back against the ropes, looking to regain his senses but Karpetti is on him like rabid pit bull! Sayaf slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antti Karpetti!
