Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and German Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, German Shepherd!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shepherd has closed the distance and engaged Andrews in a clinch.
Andrews drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Shepherd gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Shepherd throws an elbow that misses.
Andrews tries to circle away but Shepherd has him pinned against the cage.
Andrews fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Andrews looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Shepherd is fighting off a takedown attempt but Andrews is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shepherd to the mat. Shepherd regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Shepherd keeping moving, preventing Andrews from controlling successfully.
Andrews won't allow Shepherd to get back to his feet.

Andrews drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shepherd dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shepherd stands up from Andrews's guard - Shepherd perhaps looking for a knockout.
Andrews throws an off balance right hand
and Shepherd counters with a nice body shot.
Shepherd is looking to clinch but Andrews is avoiding it.

Shepherd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

It looks like German Shepherd has been cut.
Shepherd takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Andrews looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Andrews is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Shepherd has managed to free his arm - good work.
Andrews is taking a breather. Shepherd says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Andrews is working for a kimura but Shepherd is defending it quite comfortably.
Shepherd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Andrews. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Andrews is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Shepherd has one foot on Andrews's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Andrews shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shepherd manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Andrews thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Andrews is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Shepherd is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Andrews drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Andrews as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Shepherd screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Andrews! Nice submission victory there!
