Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baltazar Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Jong Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jong Il has chosen Lights by Interpol as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ramos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jong Il is refusing to be controlled, as Ramos sits in half guard.

Ramos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jong Il, who protects the arm well.

and Ramos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jong Il!

Jong Il wants to control but Ramos is having none of it.

Ramos swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jong Il is now in Ramos's guard. A big mistake from Ramos there, giving up the dominant position!

That was a close second round but I would say that Baltazar Ramos will probably get the nod.

Jong Il lands a really nice looking cross but Ramos seems unphased.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jong Il working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Ramos takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ramos throws and elbow that misses. Jong Il uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ramos's guard. Nice move by Jong Il!
Jong Il wants to control from the top but Ramos keeps moving.
Jong Il might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ramos kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
