Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodrigo Fedora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Riddick Braddock!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock dips to his left and cracks Fedora with an uppercut!
Fedora throws a lazy head kick
and Braddock moves into the clinch.
Fedora tries to circle away but Braddock has him pinned against the cage.
Braddock cracks Fedora with a nice body shot.
Braddock manages to break the clinch.
Braddock connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fedora momentarily.
Fedora looks to land a combination. Braddock sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Riddick Braddock has been cut.
Fedora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Braddock throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fedora counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fedora throws a head kick but Braddock moves out of range.
Fedora tries a head kick but it misses.
Fedora misses with a combination
and Braddock counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Braddock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Braddock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Braddock darts in and clinches Fedora up against the cage.
Braddock lands a body shot in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Braddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fedora misses with a kick to the body
and Braddock counters with a crisp one two that drops Fedora! Braddock thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fedora to his feet! Fedora is in big trouble!
Fedora is rocked!
Braddock pushes Fedora up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Fedora is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Braddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Braddock closes the distance and pushes Fedora back into the cage.
Braddock is leaning against Fedora and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Braddock manages to break the clinch.
Braddock lands a jab to Fedora's midsection.
Fedora is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Braddock rushes Fedora and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Braddock lands a nice uppercut.
Braddock lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Fedora to his knees! Braddock keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riddick Braddock!
