Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twist shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yang counters with a shoot takedown. Twist fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Twist works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Twist has his hands on Yang's head, controlling the position.
Twist bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yang's guard.
Yang keeping moving, preventing Twist from controlling successfully.

Yang is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Twist is stalling in the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Twist got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Twist has managed to get both his arms back between Yang's legs - danger averted.

Kimo Twist has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Yang tries for a takedown but Twist circles away easily
and Twist counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Yang!

Twist pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Twist has hold of Yang's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Yang manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Yang tries to control Twist's body but Twist pushes him off. Yang squirms to his side and now Twist has his back!
Yang is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Twist controlling the position well here. Yang rolled but Twist kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Yang wants to control his opponent's hands but Twist gets his hands free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Yang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Twist shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Twist was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Twist is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Twist extends the arm and Yang is forced to tap!
