The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sots swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
George Sots seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sots throws a right hand that misses
and Fitch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like George Sots has been cut.
Sots throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fitch counters with a nice uppercut.
Sots rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Fitch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Fitch has clasped his hands together around Sots's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Gerald Fitch has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Fitch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sots throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fitch connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fitch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Some wild striking there from Sots.
Sots throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fitch counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Sots to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Fitch!
