Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Sung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diamond comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hells Bells kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sung takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Diamond tries a head kick but it misses.
Sung looks for a takedown but Diamond sprawls well.

and Sung counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sung.
Diamond blocks the elbow strike.
Diamond trying to control the position but instead, Sung has worked for underhooks and has pushed Diamond into the cage.
Sung jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Diamond walks away with a smile on his face. Sung gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sung changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Diamond tries to avoid it but Sung manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Diamond to the ground. Diamond escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Sung. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diamond lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Sung wants to clinch but Diamond slips to the side

Diamond changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sung looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diamond is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sung will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A slapping body kick lands there for Diamond.
Diamond fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sung has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Diamond counters with a head kick. That will keep Sung thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Maxim Diamond showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sung steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Diamond. That one must have hurt.
Sung moves to clinch but Diamond breaks away
and Diamond counters with a body kick that stops Sung in his tracks momentarily.

Sung shoots for a double leg takedown but Diamond sprawls well. He's pushed Sung's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Diamond feints and then cracks Sung's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sung down.

Diamond shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Diamond showed some decent athleticism there.

Well Diamond has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
