Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexis Mandapat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexis Mandapat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitor Silva!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandapat jabs Silva right on the nose. Silva blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Vitor Silva has been cut.
Silva on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Mandapat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mandapat feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mandapat finish him?!

Silva is rocked!
Mandapat throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mandapat's waist but Mandapat gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mandapat swivels and escapes.
Alexis Mandapat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Silva.
Mandapat moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandapat tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandapat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Mandapat finish him?

That has opened up Vitor Silva's cut even more.
Vitor Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mandapat cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mandapat has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Mandapat throws a hook to the side of Silva's head but Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Mandapat lands with a shot to the body.
Silva looks gassed!
Mandapat lands a glancing blow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva ducks under a wild hook from Mandapat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mandapat scores with a hook to the body. Silva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mandapat lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mandapat lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

The cut above Vitor Silva's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mandapat throws an overhand right that drops Silva like a sack of potatoes! Mandapat dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
