Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Ber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson has chosen Higher Ground - Red Hot Chili Peppers as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarkko Ber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joseph Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson blocks a head kick by Ber.
Stevenson misses with a looping left.
Ber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stevenson was covering up waiting for the punch and Ber finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ber scoring with punches to the head and body.
Stevenson wants to stand but Ber is controlling the position.
Stevenson keeping full guard, as Ber tries to pass.
Ber forces his way into half guard.
Ber trying to control from Stevenson's half guard. Stevenson has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Ber trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ber throws a strike but Stevenson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Stevenson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Stevenson throws a lazy uppercut
and Ber counters with a takedown into side control.
Ber is looking to take a break and control but Stevenson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stevenson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ber throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Stevenson throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nice body punch from Stevenson.
Ber shoots in but Stevenson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ber avoids the head kick by Stevenson.
Ber throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Ber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stevenson counters with a nice body shot.
Joseph Stevenson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stevenson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Stevenson misses the target.
Ber shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stevenson counters with a head kick. That will keep Ber thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarkko Ber. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Stevenson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ber is breathing heavily.
Ber doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stevenson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ber is lucky that one didn't land flush.
A head kick misses from Stevenson.
Joseph Stevenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevenson throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Ber to counter with a crisp jab.
Stevenson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ber counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stevenson's guard now.
Ber is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stevenson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stevenson has escaped and now he's on top!
Stevenson gets to his feet. Ber looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Stevenson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stevenson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stevenson misses with a lunging right hand
and Ber counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stevenson's guard now.
Ber wants to control from the top but Stevenson keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Ber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ber cracks Stevenson with a solid left hand.
Stevenson wants to get back to his feet but Ber is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ber in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stevenson keeping moving, preventing Ber from controlling successfully.
Stevenson has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ber should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stevenson has tightened it up now! Ber should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
