The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuisku gets a takedown into half guard.
Tuisku decides to stand and escape the position.
Pigg tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tuisku counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tuisku.
Pigg looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Tuisku throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Pigg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tuisku doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tuisku manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tuisku postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Pigg can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tuisku controls the pace.

Juice Pigg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Tuisku counters with a right hand to the body.
Tuisku shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pigg manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Tuisku stands and steps away. Pigg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Tuisku closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pigg did well to prevent Tuisku getting side control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tuisku in particular looking to stall.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tuisku drops an elbow to the side of Pigg's head.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pigg wants to improve his position but Tuisku is controlling well.
Tuisku decides to stand and escape the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Pigg gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tuisku to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Tuisku decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pigg, up you get!

Tuisku is looking to take a break and control but Pigg is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pigg doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tuisku drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pigg tries to improve position but can't.
Tuisku works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Tuisku stands up.
Tuisku shoots in and bounces Pigg off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tuisku stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pigg to get to his feet.

and Tuisku counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tuisku.
Pigg wants to hit a switch here but Tuisku passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Pigg there!

Tuisku postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pigg looks a forlorn figure.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tuisku lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Tuisku scoring with strikes but Pigg is staying in there.
Tuisku takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Tuisku working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pigg turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tuisku off and cradles Pigg's limp body as Tuisku celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Antti Tuisku!
