Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mocny Vlad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mocny Vlad is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad tries a head kick but it misses.

and Kelly counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown but Vlad shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vlad thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kelly if he has to take too many more of those.
Kelly slips a jab and a cross from Vlad.
Kelly throws a series of punches but Vlad moves out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vlad forces Kelly back against the cage and clinches.

Kelly tries to circle away but Vlad has him pinned against the cage.

Vlad shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kelly napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jesse Kelly overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Nice uppercut lands for Vlad. That snapped Kelly's head back.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kelly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Vlad throws a solid leg kick but Kelly takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Vlad.

Vlad rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kelly moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Vlad changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kelly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vlad goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kelly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vlad but great work by Kelly.

Kelly wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Vlad, who protects the arm well.
Kelly connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Vlad some visible discomfort.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Vlad throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jesse Kelly.
I think Kelly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
