PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crash Bandicoot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russell Brand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bandicoot comes into the arena with Crash Bandicoot: Jungle Rollers Remix blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brand gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Bandicoot to counter with a crisp jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bandicoot looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bandicoot blocks a head kick by Brand.

Bandicoot drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bandicoot looks up at the clock and then as Brand takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bandicoot smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bandicoot slows the pace down.
Bandicoot lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Brand down.

Brand is rocked!

Bandicoot has an Americana. Brand didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bandicoot is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bandicoot hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Crash Bandicoot!
