Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jae Darkwaters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darkwaters comes into the arena with Furious - Ja-Rule blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan lands a jab to Darkwaters's midsection.
Jae Darkwaters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Darkwaters misses with a jab to the body
and Jordan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Darkwaters darts in trying to clinch
and Jordan counters with a nice uppercut.
Darkwaters falls off balance throwing a combination
and Darkwaters takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Jordan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Darkwaters forces Jordan back against the cage and clinches.

Jordan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Darkwaters's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Darkwaters is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jordan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jordan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Darkwaters's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jordan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Darkwaters scrambles back to his feet.
Jordan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Darkwaters.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Jordan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Darkwaters doesn't seem phased though.

Darkwaters is rocked!

Jordan closes the distance looking for a takedown. Darkwaters stuffs it but Jordan still has hold of him. Jordan picks Darkwaters up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Jordan slams Darkwaters to the floor and that's really hurt Darkwaters - he doesn't know where he is! Jordan throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
