Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kano Kaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Pavelic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavelic fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A combination from Kaman does no damage.
Pavelic shoots in for a takedown but Kaman shows good takedown defense.
Kaman throws a jab when Pavelic was well out of range.
Kaman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Kaman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pavelic closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kaman circles away.
Kano Kaman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Pavelic.
Kaman throws a nice looking combination but Pavelic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pavelic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kaman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pavelic should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pavelic has eaten all the pies!
Pavelic is trying to control the action in half guard but Kaman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kaman is pressing down on Pavelic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
