Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lukens closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lukens lands a nice knee to the body.
Lukens stalling in the clinch.
Bobles tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lukens smiles and moves away.
Lukens clinches.
Lukens manages to break the clinch.
Ray Bobles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lukens tries to close the distance and clinch but Bobles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lukens looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bobles misses with a takedown attempt - Lukens sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bobles shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnny Lukens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Bobles.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bobles.
Lukens fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bobles, pushing him back against the cage.

Lukens lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Bobles.
Bobles is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bobles fails to pull guard.
Bobles jumps guard but Lukens stands there with Bobles around his waist. Bobles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lukens has Bobles pushed against the cage.
Bobles tries to pull guard but Lukens won't allow it.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lukens takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Johnny Lukens.

Bobles shoots in but no luck this time.
Bobles will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lukens working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lukens tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lukens has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Lukens thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lukens is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bobles is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bobles tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lukens wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lukens thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bobles is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lukens looking to secure an arm triangle but Bobles defends it well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lukens fails to take his opponent's back.
Lukens content just to control the position here.

Lukens working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bobles turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lukens off and cradles Bobles's limp body as Lukens celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Johnny Lukens!
