Nokea is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nokea tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Nokea bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hayes's guard.

Hayes wants to pass the guard but Nokea is keeping the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hayes postures up in Nokea's guard and throws a big left but Nokea blocks it.

Nokea has his foot on Hayes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hayes works his way back into a safe position though.

Nokea is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hayes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hayes's back!

Nokea has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hayes has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
