Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Fortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patryk Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patryk Fox is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fortez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fox looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Fortez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fortez looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fox with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fortez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fortez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
