Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dreiko Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Oswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lao's entrance music is DMX - Lord give me a sign. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Oswald's choice of entrance music: Bathory-Blood, Fire, Death. Dreiko Lao has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oswald moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Oswald. No joy for Lao on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dreiko Lao. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Lao closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Oswald wants to get back to full guard.
Lao will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Oswald is trying to maintain the position but Lao is very close to passing his half guard.
Oswald moves into full guard.

Oswald escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lao gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lao drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lao jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oswald has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lao can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oswald has his feet on Lao's thighs here. He's pushed Lao off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Lao screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
