Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lee Cortes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Granit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Granit is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by no way out. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lee Cortes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barney Granit!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortes fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Granit misses with a series of wild punches.
Cortes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cortes lands in his opponent's guard.
Cortes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Granit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Cortes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Granit is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Granit manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cortes can't escape the position.
Granit is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cortes can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Cortes tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cortes flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Cortes throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Granit working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Cortes punching to the body and holding on for dear life.
Granit lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cortes is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Granit cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oh Cortes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Granit postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Cortes badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Granit around the waist but Granit pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Granit is the winner by TKO! Granit jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barney Granit!
