Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iorveth Gilli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Tack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tack shoots and misses
and Gilli counters with a nice uppercut.
Tack is looking to land body kicks.
Gilli moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gilli enables Tack to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gilli manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gilli keeping full guard, as Tack tries to pass.
Gilli is looking to stand up but Tack isn't so interested in that idea.
Tack trying to control the position from guard on top but Gilli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tack prevents Gilli from getting back to his feet.

Tack stops Gilli from standing up.
Tack wants to pass the guard but Gilli is keeping the position.

Gilli pushes Tack off and scrambles back to his feet.

Tack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tack showed some decent athleticism there.

Gilli wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Tack is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Tack is pressing down on Gilli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gilli is holding on for now.

Tack seems to be looking for submissions.

Gilli is trying to stand back up but Tack is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tack is keen to just control but Gilli is a slippery customer.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tack looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gilli tries to kick Tack off but Tack keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tack works his way into full mount!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gilli wants to try and get back to his feet.
Gilli is breathing heavily.

Tack jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Gilli manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Gilli is pushing Tack's head away, looking to escape. Tack manages to hold on to the position though.
Tack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gilli keeps working.

Tack thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gilli is not content to let Tack control the position.

Tack has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gilli is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tack yanks on the arm and Gilli is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tack.
