Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barnabeh Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ganja Lover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ganja Lover told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ganja Lover!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lover fails with the takedown
letting Silva counter with a right hand.
Lover misses with a takedown attempt
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silva is looking to clinch.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Lover sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lover.
Barnabeh Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ganja Lover.
Silva pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lover back to the cage. Silva follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Silva is pushing Lover up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Lover has Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Silva gets underhooks to prevent Lover's takedown attempt.

Lover has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
