The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abreu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Banner's head.

Abreu shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Banner keeping hold of Abreu's head, controlling as best he can.
Banner missing with punches from the bottom.
Banner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Abreu wants to work for an arm triangle but Banner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Banner has Abreu pulled in close to control his posture.

Abreu is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Banner has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Abreu is looking to defend but Banner has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Abreu! Banner pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Abreu taps out and this one is all over!
