Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wand Lei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moreira comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Samba de janeiro - bellini kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Wand Lei could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Felipe Moreira's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Moreira!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lei as he jumps to the side.
Lei takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lei swings widly with a right hand
and Moreira counters with a big head kick but Lei shrugs it off.
Moreira goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
No joy there for Lei, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A head kick by Moreira misses
and Lei counters with a big head kick but Moreira shrugs it off.
Lei misses with an uppercut
and Moreira counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lei throws a leg kick that is checked
and Moreira counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lei's guard now.
Moreira controlling from the top position.
Moreira thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moreira is pushing down on Lei's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lei is fighting to maintain full guard but Moreira has managed to sneak the leg through.
Moreira trying to control the action but Lei is working from the bottom.
Lei avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Moreira.
Moreira prevents Lei from standing back up.
Moreira wants to take a breather but Lei is having none of it.
Lei is looking to escape.
Moreira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Moreira is keen to just control but Lei is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moreira in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lei tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Moreira!
