Ler has his takedown stuffed
and Lovin counters with a stiff right hand.
Ler swats away the attempt to clinch by Lovin.
Ler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lovin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Lovin has closed the distance and engaged Ler in a clinch.

Lovin manages to break the clinch.

Lovin takes the fight into the clinch.

Lovin drags the fight down to the ground.
Ler passes Lovin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ler wants to take a breather but Lovin is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
