The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bato tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bato misses with a hook to the body
and Mancini counters with a nice uppercut.

Bato clinches with his opponent.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Bato putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Mancini in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Bato drags the fight down to the ground.
Bato trying to keep a closed guard but Mancini is proving a slippery customer.
Bato is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mancini is controlling him.
Mancini is looking to stand up but Bato won't let him.

Popoy Bato has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mancini connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bato momentarily.

and Bato counters by clinching up.
Mancini is trying to break free.

Bato manages to pull guard.
Bato wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mancini manages to pass to side control.
Mancini tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bato.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Mancini decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bato to his feet.
Bato shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mancini lands with a nice body punch.
Mancini is looking to clinch.
Mancini scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mancini darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Franco Mancini dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Bato stuffs the takedown.
Bato dodges the punch combination from Mancini.
Bato checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Popoy Bato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bato doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mancini stuns Bato with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bato's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mancini connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bato scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd cheers as Mancini lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bato doesn't seem phased though.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mancini fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bato looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Popoy Bato is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mancini lands a body shot.
Mancini displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bato.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mancini cracks Bato with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mancini has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bato to stand back up!

Bato is rocked!

It looks like Popoy Bato has been cut.
Mancini drops Bato with a naaaaasty hook - Bato is in real trouble here! Mancini dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
