The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schaefer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gunnarsson sprawls well. Gunnarsson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schaefer gets slowly back to his feet.
Schaefer jabs Gunnarsson right on the nose. Gunnarsson blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Gunnar Ingi Gunnarsson has been cut.
Gunnarsson lands a leg kick that knocks Schaefer off balance momentarily.
Schaefer throws a nice looking combination but Gunnarsson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Schaefer sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Gunnarsson to the ground! Schaefer dives into full mount looking to finish!
Gunnarsson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gunnarsson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Schaefer's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
