Kalyagin's entrance music is Show Me Your Genitals. A fine choice. Taylor has chosen New York - Empire state of mind as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Taylor just misses with a punch to the body.
Kalyagin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Taylor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Taylor tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Kalyagin counters with a slapping leg kick.
Taylor throws a sloppy body shot
and Kalyagin counters with a stiff right hand.


It looks like Jackson Taylor has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kalyagin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kalyagin sends Taylor crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kalyagin is motioning to the referee to let Taylor up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Taylor might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Kalyagin has got the better of the exchanges.
