Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paul Zbeer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Zbeer had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Zbeer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zbeer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.
Zbeer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Zbeer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zbeer is breathing heavily.
Smith lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zbeer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Zbeer gets tackled into the cage by Smith. Smith maintains the clinch.
Smith connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Paul Zbeer has been cut.
Zbeer prevents Smith from breaking the clinch.

Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Zbeer avoids the head kick by Smith.
Donk. Smith catches Zbeer right on the button with a cross.
Smith lands a body shot.
Smith scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Zbeer is rocked!
Smith jabs Zbeer to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Smith drops Zbeer with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zbeer looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Zbeer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smith ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Zbeer out cold! The fight is over!
